OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma History Center Museum is honored to present Dan and Kelly Shippey in portrayals of George and Martha Washington as part of its America250 and Oklahoma statehood commemorations. Join us for these special public presentations on Monday, November 16, and Tuesday, November 17, at 6:30 p.m. Programs for school groups are planned for Tuesday, November 17, at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to engage with two important figures from our nation’s founding era and learn more about their lives, experiences and legacies through historical interpretation.

The program is free for school groups, thanks to a grant from Oklahoma Humanities. Tickets for the evening performances on November 16 and 17 are $10 for Oklahoma Historical Society members and $20 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased online through the Museum Store, by phone at 405-522-0765 or at the door on the evening of the event.

Schools that want to attend the presentations in person at the Oklahoma History Center Museum on November 17 should sign up online to ensure there is space.
